Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated May 27, 2026
This policy governs all use of the Minerva platform by agencies, their team members, and any third parties they grant access to. Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination, with no refund of fees or credits.
1. Prohibited content and conduct
The following are strictly prohibited on the platform. Each is a ground for immediate action.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Zero tolerance. Suspected CSAM is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement immediately, and the responsible workspace is terminated.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery. Including any synthetic depiction (commonly called a deepfake) of an identifiable real person produced without that person’s explicit, verifiable, written consent.
- Content depicting real, identifiable minors. Whether photographic, illustrated, or synthetic, regardless of context.
- Content promoting or facilitating terrorism, mass violence, or violent extremism. Including recruitment, glorification, operational planning, or financing.
- Depictions of real, recognizable individuals without authorization. Includes public figures, celebrities, and private individuals, unless the Customer holds documented rights, license, or consent.
- Intellectual-property infringement. Content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other rights of a third party without a valid license.
- Content depicting illegal acts. Under the laws of the Customer’s jurisdiction, the jurisdictions of its end users, or the United States.
- Hate speech and harassment. Content that incites violence against or dehumanizes individuals or groups on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, age, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
- Platform abuse and security violations. Including unauthorized access attempts, evasion of access controls, scraping at scale, automation that exceeds posted limits, malware distribution, or interference with other customers’ service.
2. Agency responsibility
Agencies bear full responsibility for ensuring all content produced, distributed, or stored through the platform complies with applicable law in their jurisdiction and the jurisdictions of their end users. Minerva provides infrastructure; agencies are the publishers. The agency is responsible for the actions of every team member, contractor, or third party it grants access to its workspace.
3. Compliance verification
Minerva may, at its discretion and on reasonable notice except where notice would defeat the purpose of the review, audit workspace activity for compliance with this policy. Agencies must provide reasonable cooperation with audits, including responding to written inquiries within the time stated in the request. Minerva may use automated systems, including third-party classifiers, to scan uploads and generations for violations.
4. Reporting violations
To report a violation of this policy, email [email protected]. Include URLs, identifiers, and any context required to locate the content. Reports are reviewed within 72 business hours.
Suspected child sexual abuse material should additionally be reported in parallel to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at www.cybertipline.org.
5. Consequences
For first-time violations of sections of this policy other than the unconditional prohibitions described below, the typical response is a written warning and removal of the offending content. Repeat violations may result in suspension of access.
Any content involving child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, or real identifiable minors will result in immediate permanent termination of the workspace, freezing of assets, forfeiture of any prepaid credits, and reporting to appropriate law-enforcement and child-safety authorities. No refunds are issued for termination under this section.
By using Minerva, you affirm that you, your team, and any third parties accessing your workspace will comply with this Acceptable Use Policy.
